I've found many websites which sell things like Tamanu Oil, Aloe Vera juice, etc. But is there a single manufacturer/distributor who's products are best? If so, why are those ones the best? How do they compare in price?
Also, what are your favorite and most reliable homeopathic remedies?
I have found a web site that uses 3 different herb companies. Pure Herbs, Natures Sunshine and Sunnybrook Farm Herbs.
When putting together remedies for certain ailments, the iridologist/herbalist with this company will pull the best products from each manufacturor.
I have been to the herb plant for Sunnybrook Farm Herbs on several occasions. Their product are amazingly stong and very productive.
I have used their "endometriosis treatment". I suffered from Endometriosis for 3 years until I got rid of it with the products from this web site. (this has been confirmed by 2 doctors. One of wich now uses this website for his own personal use.)
Good luck, and I hope this helps.

What is the best medicine for depression with psychotic symptoms?
If you are not bipolar, an anti-D that works for you and an anti-psychotic (AP). If the psychosis is significant, Zyprexa is the heavy hitter these days. Draw back is that it tends to pile on the pounds in a way that makes anti-D complaints sound like whining. That doesn't happen to everyone, though.
Two other APs to look into are Abilify and Geodon. Both are said to have anti-D qualities and efficacy with psychosis.

or am i wrong? From what i know they changed clinical depression to major depression. why? or are they two seperate types of depression? to me it seems like they changed it to make it sound more serious
To differentiate it from other diagnoses such as dysthymia. Dysthymia is a clinical diagnosis, so is technically a clinical depression, but it is chronic and mild, compared to major depression which is acute and severe.

Every living being has a unique purpose for which he/she/it was made. You will be able to understand it only if you live your life to the full..
So, stop worrying and if at you haven't started yet… start now.. Start living.
Please Don't exist.
Not being able to get into a relationship with the one they desire…. thats the most common reason

YES!!! But they don't call it "post-partum". It's just hormones or regular depression. There are a million things that could be causing it.

I believe that I am depressed. I cry almost everyday over stupid stuff. I feel worthless and sometimes can't stop crying. Is there anyway without going to a doctor that i can truly find out if I'm depressed?
also i am not a teenage girl I am 20 gone through puberty long time ago. and i have gained 30 lbs in the past 4 months.
Symptoms
According to the DSM-IV-TR criteria for diagnosing a major depressive disorder (cautionary statement) one of the following two elements must be present for a period of at least two weeks:
Depressed mood, or
Loss of interest or pleasure in nearly all activities.
It is sufficient to have either of these symptoms in conjunction with five of a list of other symptoms over a two-week period. These include:
Feelings of overwhelming sadness or fear or the seeming inability to feel emotion (emptiness).
A decrease in the amount of interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, activities of the day, nearly every day.
Changing appetite and marked weight gain or loss.
Disturbed sleep patterns, such as insomnia, loss of REM sleep, or excessive sleep (Hypersomnia).
Psychomotor agitation or retardation nearly everyday.
Fatigue, mental or physical, also loss of energy.
Feelings of guilt, helplessness, hopelessness, anxiety, or fear.
Trouble concentrating or making decisions or a generalized slowing and obtunding of cognition, including memory.
recurrent thoughts of death (not just fear of dying), recurrent suicidal ideation without a specific plan, or a suicide attempt or a specific plan for committing suicide.
Other symptoms sometimes reported but not usually taken into account in diagnosis include:
A decrease in self-esteem.
Inattention to personal hygiene.
Sensitivity to noise.
Physical aches and pains, and the belief these may be signs of serious illness.
Fear of 'going mad'.
Change in perception of time.
Depression in children is not as obvious as it is in adults. Here are some symptoms that children might display:
Loss of appetite.
Irritability.
Sleep problems, such as recurrent nightmares.
Learning or memory problems where none existed before.
Significant behavioral changes; such as withdrawal, social isolation, and aggression.
An additional indicator could be the excessive use of drugs or alcohol. Depressed adolescents are at particular risk of further destructive behaviors, such as eating disorders and self-harm.
One of the most widely used instruments for measuring depression severity is the Beck Depression Inventory, a 21-question multiple choice survey.
It is hard for people who have not experienced clinical depression, either personally or by regular exposure to people suffering it, to understand its emotional impact and severity, interpreting it instead as being similar to "having the blues" or "feeling down." As the list of symptoms above indicates, clinical depression is a serious, potentially lethal systemic disorder characterized by interlocking physical, affective, and cognitive symptoms that have consequences for function and survival well beyond sad or painful feelings.

manic depression

Any experiences with seeing someone going through this state? How do/did you ground them back in reality? Do you have to always seek medical advice or is there a point where it is just manageable? There is this guy I know who is clearly in his manic phrase but I am just wondering how far people with this condition are ‘allowed’ to go into it until they are deemed unsafe to themselves? Is it ok to be a little bit manic but not fully into it or is immediate action taken when the first signs of a manic phrase are begining?
Thanks
It’s not easy to judge these things. Do you know your friend’s pattern? Some people just go into a manageable level of mania and don’t go so high that they become a danger to themselves. Others go over the top and if that is this guy’s pattern, it might be necessary to seek help. Usual things to watch for are spending as if the bank was full of your money…. that’s commonly the one that has most lasting repercussions. The hyperactivity is only a problem if the people around can’t cope and can’t find a way to make things OK for everyone. It’s truly problematic when people get ideas that the rest of us see as really off the wall and damage other people’s lives – eg setting fire to things.
You might find it worth reading a book called “An Unquiet Mind” by Kay Redfield Jamison. She’s a psychiatrist who herself suffers from manic-depression and got through her training because of good friends who kept her safe during the manic phases and ensured that the authorities didn’t get to know….. She is now a real expert on the condition, obviously. Her book is autobiographical, and gives lots of good info and understanding.

I have been under way to much stress for way to long now and it is leading to defeat and depression. What are effective ways to battle depression and get rid of the pressure in my head due to stress? Life is too short and my kids are too great to be living like this. Thanks!
You need to relax by doing deep breathing, meditating, and lots of praying. You need to prioritize your tasks by doing the most important things first and try not to worry about the small things too much. And always remember that God will make a way for you because he never give you too much that you can’t handle. You can overcome ANYTHING if you just believe. Also, try to stay away from negative people and surround yourself around positive attitudes. Stay strong for your kids!

For the last three months there has been a place on my nose that has been scabbing over and then the scab comes off and then it re-scabs and then I try a cream and band-aids and it still does this, and then I use a different cream or ointment and it does it again, and on and on. The way it came about makes my feel that there's a deeper problem to this. It's not from a wart or a pimple, but the skin there became different of a different texture. No discoloration though. Then the initial chafing and scabbing. I would accept any answer. I'm curious about a homeopathic answer.
I recently discovered Melaleuca oil. It is a natural antiseptic. It is good for sooo many things. My first testimonial about it is when my son had a very itchy rash on his back and I decided to try the oil and it stopped itching almost instantly after I applied it. If you want to find it, it is on their website, melaleuca.com It is safe to put on open wounds, even in your mouth. It is in all of their products, including their toothpaste. If I were you, I would try it. It sounds kinda odd that the sore keeps coming back. Take care! By the way, I've heard that the oil helps rosacea.

I heard today from a friend that homeopathic medicines and remedies are mixed in a weird way. I cant understand why she thinks so. Can any one here help back this up?
That's fanatism and nonsense. Those soft remedies are more according to God's laws than strong and manipulative chemical ones.
